s-eco-costs

In True Cost Accounting (TCA), the antisocial labor conditions are dealt with the s-eco-costs, similar to S-LCA. It comprises:

  • minimum acceptable wage
  • child labor
  • extreme poverty
  • excessive working hours
  • occupational health & safety

It must be mentioned here that child labor in agriculture (children are helping their parents in the fields) is regarded less severe than child labor in manufacturing plants, and become harmful when they are deprived from education at schools.
