Since 1998, Sustainability Impact Metrics is a partnership between Aiming Better, a private company of Joost Vogtländer, and the Delft University of Technology, to develop the eco-costs system and the Idemat LCIs. Stichting Sustainable Impact Metrics (SIM) is a nonprofit Foundation. It is a partner of Impact Forecast, a spin-off of EIT Climate-KIC (a European catalyst for climate entrepreneurship).

To enable practical LCA and TCA calculations, this website provides:
– over 58.000 eco-costs of emissions of specific substances
– over 1.600 IDEMAT eco-costs on materials, processes, energy, and transport
